Basic facts, I caught him in a lie on day one.
Fortunately I work w/him rarely, however I cannot be around this person, his character makes me ill.
ILL I said!!!! He makes me truely sick.
My other co-worker from a different store location says he doesn't do his job right at her store either. [we are assigned by another company to do certain jobs for stores, ect]
I just want to know how to deal w/a Lying sack of $hit con-artist. I don't like their continuous games, too much to post here.
How do you be around someone like this exactly?
I am NOT USED TO THIS at all!!
help

P.S. I have literally caught him in 5 lies already in the last few months.
He likes to twist things around a lot, and try his best to make other ppl look like idiots so he can in some way 'make a gain for himself'!!
The funny thing is ... he actually thinks he can pull the wool over others eyes.
However our DM isn't around to CATCH it !! Only us co-workers ...

I am doing WELL at my job, but because I am new, [and he is too] it's like he twists things around , makes up lies at other's expense
Okay, this is what happen today [one example] we were supposed to do a project together this weekend.
But when I went into work today, he did the project w/out me,even though we were both assigned.
He then said, "well just put this information on the report--you can claim the hrs. I won't tell"ect
No, of course I didn't claim it as I was surprised that he thought I'd fall for that crap. It's obviously the kind of stuff he does. So he thinks he can set me up, so he can have my hrs. along w/these other hrs. that he's assigned [it's a merchandising position]

Hi. Many people are manipulative. Talk to you supervisor and present facts, not opinion. He (she) should be able to handle this.

Stay away, and out of the drama surrounding this person. He will inevitably be caught in his lies, and it is not worth it to be involved. If you are truly worried about your job security talk to Hr, or a manager, let them know the scoop. Cover your butt, only if you need to. He will want to take others down with him when he is caught! Hang in there!

i don't know if this would help but to catch a con you have to play the game (con the conartist). you have to call his bluff.
i studied PI and have not completed it. but to catch a criminal you must get into their mind and know eactly what their next move is and be one step ahead of them. i have done a few jobs for friends and my partners friends which involved conning a conartist. i have played their game and got some really good results that benefited the people i did favours for.
try it and most of all be patient and it will fall in to place.
good luck

Wow! You really hate this guy. Document document document. Send notes summarizing conversarions and statements, with copies to your superiors. How do you know he is after your job? Why should you boss give him your job if you are doing well at it? Since you don't have to be around him often, I would keep out of his way, and just try to ignore him.

A roll of carpet, a blunt instrument, a bottle of lye, and a shovel ought to do it.

No seriously, have you tried having a civil conversation and telling this person how you feel?

You could try being upfront with him, not always but a lot of times people like that lack character and will fold.

he a pathological lyer he don't even no he's doin it I'd just suggest to the boss to do a revue of him if he's so bad he will probably look into replacing him but normally you just have to suck it up and get on with your day if you run into him

People like that are usually the cause of their own demise! Just be patient....he'll get what's coming to him. :)

Put him in a position where he has to produce... or walk. Bring it up to your supervisor also.
