My legs always seem to be in pain.

Walking is not so bad, unless I walk for a long time. Then, I have a great deal of pain.

Standing is one place is not comfortable and gets painful.

Any one else?

Would a shot of steroids or muscle relaxant help?

Sounds like sciatica to me. Probably a herniated disc. That piece of the disc sticks out and touches your sciatic nerve, which runs down your leg. It's a hot nerve pain, right?

I had that in 1976. At that time surgery called a "laminectomy" was the only help. It worked like a miracle. Today they just use lasers. That's probably what you need. Start with your regular doctor, tell him/her everything you wrote in your question, and he will guide you and fix you right up. Good luck, sir! :)

Yep, me legs hurt constantly from nerve damage. You really need to go to the doctor to get this checked out. There is no way to know what is going on without seeing a doctor and possibly getting some tests done.

A million things can cause leg pain; pinched nerves, disc disease, auto-immune disorders, restless leg syndrome, blood clots, vessel disease, injuries,....as you can see, too many things to list!! Once you know what is causing the pain then your doctor will know the best way to treat it so you can feel better. He might even have some suggestions for relief without knowing right off hand whats causing it. Good luck!

Get to the Doctor right away. I know of two people (brothers) that had severe leg pain like you describe. It was discovered that they both had blood clots in their legs. One of them had a clot break loose and go to his lungs. Almost killed him. Seriously this is not something to mess with.

sounds muscular seeing as it gets worse when exercising or when the muscles are 'working'. try a remedial massage or go see a physiotherapist

is it muscle pain or joint pain?
if regular ibeuprofen doesn't help, maybe try extra strength or something else. if it persists I'd see a doctor.
