My best friend has 2 kids under 5 and is in love with a 21 year old man. I think it is o.k., only she first met him when she was 20 and he was 14. She met him through her younger brother who is now 24- he has no problem with it. Also her ex-husband grew up with him and they all come from a small town. I am not sure what to say to her???? I dont even know if it is wrong/ right???? My husband thinks the whole thing is weird@&$@??

nothing is really wrong about it. if they want to be together, it just means they make each other happy. that for me is love. age is just a number. it's not immoral either.
i do believe that if she finds love and happiness in him and he does the same, then the people around them have to be just cool about it.

my first girlfriend was 25 and I was 19 when we first met, everything went great for 2 years then it all fell apart. She also had a young son. It would've worked out between us if my family could accept the situation but they just couldn't so I got dumped. It's definitely possible and might get looked down upon, just tell her she might be in for a world of hurt.

As hard as it is to find someone to get along with and laugh with and have fun with, I say congratulate her! This may really work out for them and at least they were mature enough not to act on "attraction" when the guy was 14!! Now that would be weird...Night time news weird!

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. The age gap is not that big. I do think it is a little odd how there is so much inter connections but if everyoner is fine with it then they should go for it.
