They don't agree with or won't accept what is God's order. Such as protecting all human life and the sanctity of marriage.
We did not make reality, God did - the things we know are from his creative hand - so why the opposition to try to meet our broken needs?
We did not make things the way they are, and we are wise to be aligned with the One who did.

i agree with you 100%. people don't want to have to work to fulfill what God wants - they want a god that conveniently fits with their schedules and life plan. so they twist and turn God's order into something that conveniently works for them.

Not sure what your angle is here...but for what its worth...God has done a bit of self-disclosure in His revealed Word (read "Bible"). If He has revealed His character and His past actions, it is not unreasonable to assume that we can point to His own self-disclosure and say He will remain true to it. Of course, any person can take that disclosure and twist it to suit his or her own fancies and notions of what is right and wrong. In fact, history indicates that that very thing is not so uncommon. So, Mighty P is correct.

Mostly misguided and voluntarily so. They also obviously lack accurate knowledge about God and his way, his truthful standards. A lot of it has to do with their wicked behavior.

If your god is so loving and powerful why doesn't he she or it do something to protect all human life? At least the innocent children. I can answer that ...because there is no god. If by chance there is a god of some kind it is certainly not a all powerful loving god.

"We did not make reality, God did"

I believe people make their own reality based on what they *believe* to be true. If you think you are sad, you feel sadness. If you think you are happy you feel happy. If you think you are successful you enjoy success. If you think you are kind hearted you expound kindness to those around you etc.

I believe that people made things the way they are today. That is my reality.

My opinion is just as baseless as yours. Neither of us can prove our points.

No one has found God - YET. God asked nothing but ONE thing from man -

Seek Me.

I am seeking and I have not found..
I Will know when i see him.
He says don't trust man's word.
But people claim Christianity is correct? When that contradicts what they say they preech?
No one knows him - YET.

They think they know more than God. I guess if you don't believe in God it's understandble why you'd think that way. Since I believe in God though, I don't do that.

Because not everyone believes what you do. Many of us think that there isn't a god that won't let gay people get married and that cares about a day old zygote. Many of us think religious folk are trying to enforce personal beliefs on everyone else, whether we agree with them or not. You can claim that these decrees originate from god, but from our viewpoint it just seems like people are using god as an excuse to enforce compliance with their personal belief system. Savvy?
