Im guessing if you sin its a bad thing right?

Okay for something to be considered a sin, it has to be bad right?

Its not right to take a life because you will not only deprive the other person of a life, but you'll hurt those who loved them as well (there's more but just as an example)

Its not right to cheat because thats how a person stops loving the one they're with and they slowly start loving the person they're cheating with and in the end can hurt the person they're with now

Its bad to steal because youre taking something that isnt yours or that belongs to somebody else and it could very well be something that means a lot to them so you could somehow hurt them.

Its bad to lie because sometimes you could lead a person on or they think they know who you are and when they find out what youre really like, it might not be what they wanted. Basically youre deceiving.

I could go on and on, however I want to ask this

What is wrong with people who have premaritial sex or that are gay? Who exactly are they hurting?

Please refrain from using circular reasoning as in(cause it says so in the bible or cause god said so)

Im pretty sure if he said these things it was for a reason. So who exactly are these people hurting? And as far as teen pregnancies go there is protection or birth control. So please without using a fallacy, try to explain how these things are harmful to society.

Some people say it wasnt god's plan, but does it mean its going to ruin it?

In my view causal sex does have a negative impact on a persons life. There will always be emotional baggage even when people try to say otherwise. At the end of the day the girl does look back in regret and the boy is left wanting more and is never completely fulfilled. Then there are the other persons that this affects such as the parents, children or other significant others involved. Would you want your daughter to just engage in casual sex when ever she feels pleases? No way!That is the way God sees it.

Moreover, there are all sorts of complications that may result not excluding cancer and ST D's.

Spiritually, demons are able to transfer from one individual to the other through sexual intercourse. For example, a normal male may have been sexually molested and after this finds himself to be attracted to the opposite sex. This behaviour was not just caused by preference, but it was induced by something.

This is not a biblical answer -
sex generates little humans so when you have a female that has sex and get pregnant with with 5 kids from 5 different guys how does that hurt. You ? Indirectly yes? because she is having her kids in public hospital at the tune of 120,000 a pop with no one to support her, then she spend her life on public assistance because she can't get job because she had her first at 14, and her mom is raising the first 3. Where as if she had stayed in school, graduated got married she probably has insurance and is only going to have 1 or 2 that they can afford and want to take care of have a home and car and family over for the holiday. Who does it hurt me you her her mom her family and most of the kids that is who it hurts!!!!

Premarital sex is considered bad b/c your virginity is considered a very sacred thing. It's your most precious gift that you can give to your husband/wife on your wedding night. It's a sign of trust and loyalty b/c you want to be completely dedicated to that one person who you have decided to spend your life with. Also, having sex before you're married can lead you into temptation to have sex with more than just your partner. And, nowadays, having more than one partner can be deadly b/c of STD's etc. Therefore, it is harmful.

Being gay is wrong b/c God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Ethan, to reproduce and start creating more life. The only reason, besides preventing loneliness, Eve was created was so they could reproduce and populate the Earth, spread the word of God and how they began, and create a whole planet that's full of believers and followers of God b/c they know how they really came to be. If mean were meant to be w/ men, then God would not have originally created woman. Likewise, God did not create Ashley and Eve to be together either. Therefore, both ways are wrong.

i will answer the marriage one first...adultery is any sex outside of marriage..the reason it is bad is because it may only take once for you to get pregnant...and perahps you dont want to spend your life with that person, or perhaps that person will not commit and help you because you are not married..this is exacly what happened to me...i ended up getting pregnant outside of marriage and he didnt want to stick around because there was no marriage commitment...he would have never married me but enjoyed the relationship...if i would have refrained from sex he would have eventually left and i wouldnt be a single mom...
it can go the other way too if you are a man you can end up having to take care of children even if you dont want to marry the girl...no birth control is 100%.
Now as for the gay part...well i just dont think its naturally the way things are suppose to be...i beleive people usually end up gay because of unresolved issues in their childhood..for myself it was like this..for a long time before i accepted Jesus i thought i could be gay..but i realised that i was just angry with men...and i am not gay at all...There is so much child abuse in the world..is it so damaging..ecspecially when the child doesnt even realise the effects of it.

In my opinion they aren't hurting anyone but themselves, the problem is the gay movement which is reaching our youth and forcing children to view things that parents and christians don't want to be a part of. Finding your freedom to be whatever you want to be is fine, but trying to force others to condone it or forcing it upon their children through means of the legal system is another matter altogether. Gay people want to be gay and straight people want to be straight, and they don't want the law to dictate to them what they should find morally acceptable or force their children to learn about it in school. You see, descrimination is forcing someone out because of their beliefs, you are not descriminated upon because someone finds your actions or beliefs immoral or unacceptable! I thought we lived in a country where we all had the right to choose what we believe! Gods plan is to annilate those who choose not to conform to his commandments and create a paradise for those who do, so no it isn't going to ruin his plans, it is progressing his plans along, just like predicted. ;-)

I think the answer lies in the fact that sexuality is such a powerful force that we have to take measures to control it and channel it into uses that support society. Marriage is the major institution to channel sexuality. Sexual energy confined to having one's own children and raising them. Anything that damages marriage is bad for society. That includes divorce, premarital sex, pornography, homosexuality, and polygamy to name a few.

They are hurting themselves, as well as others involved. Sin is bad, when people do not repent and still choose to live in sin, by keep doing it, over and over. Living in continious sin, just leads to bad consquences and end up hurting so many people (that you get involved with).

Committing a sin, but later . . sincerely or truly repent it to God and others you sinned against (knowing you did wrong, for its your heart's desire to do what is right, by allowing God help you do right the next time) is not necessarily a bad thing.

Sin is only bad, when you do not truly repent and knowledge you did wrong, but keep on doing it and hurting others. But to sin a few times in your life, and truly repenting each and every one, is not seen as bad to God, but you are made right in His eyes . .for understanding that we, people will tend to sin, if we choose to do things our way instead of God's way.

We all were born as sinners (even after becoming a believer, but as one, we will tend to sin less and less because God's power, thru the Holy Spirt helps His people resist sinning so much than non-believers), and God came to save us, sinners . .not those who think they are rightious. God loves us all, whether we are unbelievers or not ..and will forgive all your sins, if you truly desire to be a good person in your heart. Its the intentions of your heart that He is seeks, not what you did wrong in your past life as an unbeliever, and/ or what good deeds you did as a believer, thru out your life. Its desiring to love Him and desiring to obey (having a good, obedient heart) Him, that really matters to God.
