You can babysit little criminals.

Just because the position states that it only requires a high school diploma as a minimum does not mean that the person with the minimal qualifications will get hired.

Most PD's prefer a 4 year degree.

AND WHAT TYPE OF JOB DO YOU WANT TO GET INTO? WITH A B/S YOU CAN GET INTO ABOUT ANY ENTRY LEVEL FIELD. THEN BASED UPON YOUR DEGREE CAN ADVANCE FASTER IN MOST INSTANCES.

A B/S WILL IN SOME DEPARTMENTS GET YOU A TWO STEP RAISE IN PAY.

SOME UNIONS COLLECTIVELY GOT AN ACROSS THE BOARD AGREEMENT THAT AN AA=25 A MONTH, BA = 50 AMONTH AND A MA =100 A MONTH BONUS.

SOME DEPARTMENTS WILL PAY DOWN YOUR FEDERAL STUDENT DEBT FOR EVER YEAR YOU ARE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AT 20% PER YEAR.
