i have had 2 credit cards i have been paying off each month for about 3 months but it still shows up that i have "no credit"

will it show up that I have credit after 6 months? Also what will it go to..does it go to fair or to good? I am using about 30% of my credit limit and paying it off each month

You're doing the right thing by using 30% each month and paying it off. It usually takes 1 year from your first line of credit to even show up in the credit burreau. One thing you shouldn't be doing though is continuing to apply for credit. Too many inquiries is a major liability for credit companies. Just chill out and be patient for at least another 6 months, longer if you can, and then check to see. There's also a lot more to your score then just fair or good, there's a point system, history and account checks, even background checks apply. Just be patient, I know it stinks but we all had to do it, it's your right of passage.

It will show that you have good credit after a period of time, perhaps the 6 months, but then put aside the credit cards and use a debit card instead. you will save the interest upon what you have on the card and some banks will even pay you interest on the money you have in the bank.

It also depends on if your credit card companies report to the credit bureaus. Call customer service and find out if they report to the bureaus, and if so, if it's all three or only one. When I just started out I showed activity on my report after two months. My credit was fair.

It depends did you have any bad credit before? I would give it at least 6 months also credit is made up of parts, types of accounts, history, new credit and payments.

I'm pretty sure that after 6 months it will improve your credit rating, im not sure what it will go to exactly but it will definetly help as long as your always on time!
