I am by no means an expert but you should do some research on Carbohydrate foods. There are 2 Types, High Gi and Low Gi. It actually depends how long your training lasts to determine what sorts of foods to eat. But I would suggest doing some research on Low Gi, as training generally goes for 1-1.30+ hrs. Also, some of the jelly lollies like snakes and such are quite good with replenishing Glucose stores. As for Fluids, Sports drinks are far more beneficial (but expense) than the conventional Water.

Finally I will just leave you with a few things to think about and research on.
- Carbohydrate Foods (CHOs)
- Gylcemic Index
- Sports Drinks (Hypotonic, Hypertonic)

Also, structure your diet to cate for your training schedule. If you need any more help ask me, I will help the best I can otherwise consult an expert (dietian)

well, in MARITAL arts, you eat whatever you;re spouse tells you too. unless they dont care. then you eat what you want.

it doesnt really matter that much what you eat, although you should avoid things like mcdonalds, and fast food and super fatty foods although it is easier to gain muscle with a little fat. dont go all skinny bone jones, like 3% body fat, but dont go too heavy either.
