I need some help with my scanner?

I have a mustek 1200 ub plus scanner... yeah, i know it old, but im trying to use it on my laptop with vista and i dont know if it will work, because there are only drivers for xp and others, and when i try to install it, it gets some errors saying parts of the installation are being used... is it possible at all to use this scanner on vista?

i paid the guy at my local computer shop to get the right drivers for my printer,it worked fine befor i upgraded to vista
