CAN I FEED THE DOLPHINS IF I AM CAMPING ON MORETON ISLAND?

In order for you to be able to feed the dolphins, you have to be staying at the resort under a package that includes dolphin feeding. Enormous amounts of people wish to feed the dolphins but unfortunately, it's just not possible and as a result, we do have to limit numbers. You may, however, with management’s approval (as the resort is a closed resort after 6pm), be able to view the dolphin program and participate in the educational and environmental awareness program from the resort jetty. http://www.tangalooma.com/dolphinweb/faqs/default.asp

I went last year for the day and was able to purchase a package deal that included the return boat trip, the dolphin education program and the chance to feed the dolphins, because our boat departed that evening after the program we were in the first group to feed the dolphins.
Any Brisbane travel agent can help you with a booking. Have a great time, we did.

If your day trip - by boat - includes dolpin feeding - you may get to participate. You would have to take the tour package as the feeding happens at dusk - after the first boat has left. There are usually a lot of people watching & not many get to actually feed them. Usually 3 or 4 dolphins come in close to shore, you get in line, walk into the water up to your kneeswith a marine conservation officer & they hand you a fish from a bucket to feed the dolphin.
