White Bread
New Paint Brush
Food Colorings
Milk
Decide how many colors you want to use and gather that many small cups or dishes. Pour about 1/4 cup of milk in each cup. Using the food coloring, add a different color to each up. Add the food coloring until you get a bright color. Now, use the paint brush and paint a picture on a piece of bread. Make sure that bread doesn't get too wet. When your picture is done, toast the bread.
tHIS IS SOMETHING I USED TO DO!
GOOD LUCK

French bread is the PERFECT thing to make out of stale bread.
Also, if you cook a lot or just make chicken parmesan-type things sometimes, you should totally make your own bread crumbs. I've never done this but heard it's so much better and it's the perfect thing to do with old bread. Just put it in a food processor until it's ground into small crumbs and freeze it until you need them! Voila!

You say that they are too old to be eaten; if that is the case - BREAD? Toss it. Why would you eat something that is too OLD to be eaten????
If it is not freezer burned, then you may make french toast out of it.
One egg, beaten
splash of milk
sprinkle of cinnamon
dip bread into mixture; sautee in pan with a bit of butter and cook until each side is nicely browned; serve with syrup or powdered sugar.
ely browned. It is called FRENCH TOAST. Serve with either powdered sugar or maple syrup.

French toast. Cube it and make croutons. Break it up for meatloaf. A couple servings of bread pudding. Small batch of stuffing. Hope this has been helpful.

Salad crutons...cut the bread, place a single layer of cubes on a baking pan, sprinkle with olive oil and salt. Bake at 350 until golden brown.
Allow it to go completely stale and grate it up into breadcrumbs.

Break them up, drizzle with olive oil and whatever herbs or spices you like. Bake them until hard. Use them for croutons on a salad. They are so much better than pre made croutons from the store.

Put them in a plastic bag, seal and with a rolling pin crush into crumbs that you can use to make a meatloaf or meatballs.
