I have long hair, and I love my shampoo and conditioner. But after I get out of the shower and comb/dry my hair, I've realized that over the years I stopped using anything in it.
I used to use palmaides, but stopped because some of them made my hair look greasy.
Is there any type of treatment or product I should be using my hair (after showers) to keep it soft and healthy?
Thanks.

Thanks for all the options.
I'm only interested in stuff to use after I shower, and I don't use any sort of heat on my hair.
Sprays or creams or palmades... That type of stuff... Nothing for 'hold'. I'm actually happy with the fluffiness/texture of my hair, I just want to make sure it stays healthy over the years since long hair tends to damage even when you're getting the ends trimmed regularly.
Thanks.

You dont really need anything in it..if you dont use heat
If you use heat products..then I would suggest some sort of serum such as..
Frizz-ease by John Fredia. Or citrus-shine, or any type of hair serum to keep it shiney. Dont use to much.
Hope i help[:

First of all, you should change shampoo and conditioner every once in a while because your hair gets used to it. So like, every three washes, use a different kind then you can go back to your favorite one the next wash, and so on. You should also buy some kind of deep conditioner (the kind you leave in your hair for five minutes or more) and use that once every three weeks or so. Then after you wash your hair, and while it is damp, you should use some oil free anti frizz product, it keeps your hair smooth without the greasy look.

Most shampoos and conditioners with herbal or fruit extracts work the best (but unfortunatly not everything works for everyone!) Your hair is like your skin, individual to you. Best bet it a trial and error - dont use any with heavy perfumes or added colours. If you have a dandruff problem be sure to only use it every few days - that will end up stripping and destroying your hair.

Take omega 3 suppliments! Shampoo less often and use a light leave in conditioner vs. the heavy ones that are sold for the shower.

you should switch up your shampoo and conditioner every now and then. That can help. Also , my hair is long as well, .and i use a weekly henna deep conditioner, ....i put it on in shower....then get out and keep a damp hot towel on it for about 30 minutes while i watch the game or whatever.....then rinse it out. It works well.
