The over the counter stuff will help you out occasionally, but you really need to eat more fiber. Fruits and vegetables. Especially raisins and prunes. Eat a cup or so every day. Cheap insurance and particularly good for you.

I take exlax every now and than. Try to eat a lot of fiber so that when you have the #2, it will be softer and not causing you to bleed.

Colace...it won't cause cramping the way that ex-lax does. Try eating more fiber, your poo is probably too hard from not getting enough fiber. Also drink more water too.

You really need to eat a lot of fiber food. You need to eat lots of fruits and veggies. If you eat fried foods or drink soda that will cause you to be constipated. If you eat healthy, you would not have a problem.
