It doesn't sound like it to me! Most doctors tell average height and non-overweight people to eat 1800-2200 calories a day, depending on their activity level.

An 800-calorie diet is usually not considered to be nutritionally rich enough for most people. It's usually reserved for people who have hundreds of pounds that they have to lose pronto because of heart health issues.

10 grams of fat equals only 90 calories. Even on an 800-calorie diet, the average person should eat about 160-240 calories from fat, which is about 18-27 grams. You don't say what kind of carbs you're ingesting. If it's all pasta and refined sugars, that would be very bad. You need fruits and veggies! Also, you didn't even mention protein, which is necessary to maintain muscle health.

1 gram of fat = 9 calories
1 gram of protein = 4 calories
1 gram of carbs = 4 calories

fat should be 20-30% of your daily calorie intake.
protein should be 10-15%.
complex carbs should be the rest.

You really should speak to a nutritionist about getting a plan that is right for you! I'm just a person who took a nutrition and fitness class in college.

200 grams of carbs? thats prob not good.....and 800 is prob too less of calories. when you eat 200o cals a day...your body burns 2000 ccals a day. when you cut back to 800 cals a day, you may lose weight at first but then you stop because your body starts burnin 800 cals a day. try not to go under 1200, unltd fruits and vegs, and NO WHITE CARBS!!!! this is white bread, pasta, potatoes, etc. also, avoid anything that has corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, or salt in the top 7 on ingredient list. stick with all natural foods, and fat free dairy! you can basically eat like a horse and not worry about gaining a pound! because your body uses each and every bit of the all natural ingredients...think about it, our bodies werent designed to know how to digest anything man made, so it stores it as fat. thats why america is the fattest nation in the world, cuz good healthy all natural foods are rarely ever consumed. but for those who do, theyll be trim for life!

Honestly, the fact that you keep track of that stuff makes me think that you are definitely unhealthy. If you keep on the track of constantly reccording your weight and the things you eat you are risking developing an eating disorder. Just relax, eat lots of fruits, veggies, and cut down on proccessed foods (chips, cakes, ect.) and a general rule of thumb for healthy eating is to divide your plate into four. In two of the four parts put fruits or veggies, in one fourth put proteins (meats or fish), and in the last fourth put starches and grains (potatoes and breads). Other than that drink lots of water, excersize at least thirty minutes a day and get lots of sleep. Other than that you really don't need to do much. Indulge once in a while and keep stress out of your life.

you mustn't be eating that few of energy era, this could be a weight-alleviation plan tip to stay by making use of. the physique needs energy to perform, while it would not get sufficient carbs to artwork precise it starts off to interrupt down the protiens that make up your muscle groups to compensate. no longer purely does this make you loose calorie burning muscle communities regardless of the undeniable fact that it additionally produces harmfull ketone bodies which could have devastating effects down the line if it maintains for too long. it isn't the energy which you eat *in all fairness of direction* its the place they arrive from. attempt eating entire grains, intense fiber meals, monunsaturated and polyunsaturated fat which help to decrease ldl cholesterol and guard a healthful excercise regime! it relatively is easily all you're able to do.

Hell no! you need as many calories as you can get. The healthiest way to live is to suck up as much calories as you can, then burn them. That is the way it should be. Animals live by the hunt and that is how they evolved into better creatures.
I am going to start a cult in which we gorge ourselves on yummy food and call it god. MMMM., steak! and ice cream and donuts! Yeah. But then you bust your ***, build muscle and burn it all. it would take a lot of work.

this is healthy only if you are getting enough vitamins and nutrients your body needs. If you are quite active this may not be enough of an energy source for you to work with I would suggest a dietary supplement along with a few vitamin tablets to keep yourself healthy
