In Spanish we say:

"Una imagen vale más que mil palabras"

It actually means "An image is worth MORE than a thousand words"..:-)

In Italy we say "Un'immagine vale più di mille parole" (A picture is worth more than a thousand words).
Literal translation of yr sentence would be "Un'immagine vale mille parole" or also " Un'immagine è come mille parole".

In German, it's : "Ein Bild sagt mehr als tausend Worte", which literally means "A picture says more than a thousand words", but it's what they say.
