I agree with Boots -- sweating is good for you. It cleans out your skin, and helps get rid of toxins from your body.

What you want to do is make sure you look good after gym class, though. You can keep wet wipe in your locker to freshen up with, and pull your hair back into a pony tail. Get a drink of water to help cool yourself down. Take your gym clothes home (in a plastic bag) and get them WASHED.

Deep breathing might help you calm down the sweating after gym class. Also, warm up gently, but then play HARD during the first half of class, and slow down your activity during the last half of class. That way, you get both exercise and sweat control.

If anybody gives you crap about sweating, smirk and say, "You know, you're probably not playing hard enough." That throws the problem back on them.

Good luck, and don't let the morons make you feel bad!

1.Be sure to wear a ponytail, to keep your hair (which contains LOADS of oils in it) off of your face. 2.Ice can reduce redness, so once your face starts to get red, rub some ice on it. 3. Instead of RUNNING, try a quick jog pace. Running REALLY makes you sweat, and jogging not so much. 4. Rub antiperspirant (deodorant that stops sweating)over every inch of your body before you start. 5. Concealer can tone down the red color, so apply it. Hope I helped!

Well, as they said, you can get some really good deodorants, do some reserach.

As for that, you can't stop from sweating. It is a naturally occruing way to flush out bad things and keep you cool.

You can always try showering after too.

Well, you could induce a heat stroke by deactivating the part of your brain that regulates body temp; I believe it's located in the hypothalamus. Or you could burn or peel your skin off. I guarantee, you'll stop sweating, but your body will also overheat and die. Why would you want to do that. Sweating is the body's natural defense against overheating; are you that vain?

I tell you what worked for me. This is only true if I am not trying to build endurance, not just strength. Strength building exercises can be done without visible swetting by taking long breaks; wait till your heart is back to normal beat and your system is back to normal before you try the next set.

try not only putting deoderant on after gym but also put it on before gym class. if regular deoderant doesnt work the way u want it to, try secet clinical strength. ive heard that it works really well.
