as to your question - at its most simple level integrity is doing what you say you will do, when you say you will do it.

The first thing that came to mind was integrity means doing the right thing even when no one is watching. If we only do what we would if God were watching all the time, then we'll experience an integrity integration down to the core of our being. Trouble is, we sometimes tend to think that because we can't see Him, then he doesn't see us either.

Integrity, in this case would mean that the person would have to admit that prayer to this being called god, is a waste of time and energy because this being called god does not exist. Believing in something and praying to that something of which there is absolutely no proof of existence shows a lack of integrity.

Integrity seems the more intense version of honesty. You can be honest and still get by with certain loopholes, or be bluntly honest in a way to hurt someone's feelings.

Integrity is to combine honesty, compassion, and honor, in my eyes. Not only to tell the truth, but to take care to tell it in kind and appropriate application, to never seek loopholes, and to maintain to the spirit of an agreement instead of the letter.
