Curious about it because I have 3 cats. Are they good with kids?

These are totally different breeds and can be unpredictable.

if the dog is a puppy, it can learn how to behave around cats, with older dogs some could care less about cats and others have a high prey drive. As with kids, if the kids are respectful and the dog is socialized, there shldn't be a problem. They are both high energy dogs that require a fair about of excerise the best thing you could do is read up on both breeds and find out if it will fix in with your families lifestyle

I'm not familiar with the bulldog, but labs are great with kids, and can be with cats, too. Several neighbors have labs and kids and cats. The dogs are basically knuckleheads, but all labs are. They only have about 3 working brain cells, and those cells don't talk to each other. Which is why guys like labs, because they make us look good in comparison!

Well, American Bulldogs are fabulous dogs, very gentle, affectionate and devoted, or so I'm told. Labs are very popular dogs... Personally, not my favorite breed of dog, but very smart in general, as they are one of the top breeds used for Service Dogs.

However, you are asking about this mixture almost as if it's a real breed, which it isn't. It's a Mutt...They are all different, as some inherit more of one parent's tendencies than the other.

Temperament depends on that particular dog.

How would you know ?? If the dog has been socialized with kids, he might be. Might not be. Ask the owners if the dog is good with kids and cats.
