Hi friend,
No, I don't think you're a spolied brat. You're 13 & nearing adolescence. It's natural to feel that way. But you need to realize that not all things will be the way you want it to be. Im 41 now & in my life I've never had a room of my own. Of course, I want to, but circumstances would not allow it, thus I have to live with it. Yet, I never even thought of my life as "sucks". You have no choice right now but to accept the situation you're in right now & make the best of it. Your life will only "suck" if you want something you can't have & you can't accept the reality of it. By the way, just for a reminder. Just think of those persons out there who doesn't even know where the next meal with come from. You're still blessed, my friend. Not as much as you like to think. But you are.

No, your life doesn't suck. Maybe this is the best arrangement your parents can manage to keep all of you under the same roof. Sharing a room sucks but join the club - alot of us did it. and then one, day you move out and get your own. It will only make it that much sweeter when you get it, but right now, this is your family and you will look back and remember it and see what it taught you ( that you try to be a good "roommate" or want to work to have something different for your own kids - or that being close to family isn't a bad thing in the grand scheme of things)....by the way how does your 17 yr old brother enjoy having his little bro there all the time? It isn;'t that bad.....and its not the rest of your life so learn from it, and stop thinking too much about it...do you live in your room 24/7? No, so don't worry so much about it.

It isn't the best, but you're better off than a lot of people. You have a roof over your head, you have both parents in the household, and if you're smart enough to think about it, you stand a decent chance to get out of the house and go to college soon.

So does your life suck? That's your decision, not mine. Your glass may be half empty. It's up to you to decide whether to piss and moan about it, or go find a faucet.

Honestly, i dont think you have it that bad,
i have a fairly bad life to
my advice to you is try to stay at friends houses and far away from your brother, and trust me running away wont get you any where
and my best advice is count your blessings because be for you know it your life could get a million times worse and remember theres always someone worse off than you.
i hope i helped :)

Well, sounds like you are. Just be glad you have a room, a bed, clean bed clothes to keep you warm. And enough food to eat. There are lots of people that don't you know.

I had to share a room with my brother once. I also had to share a room with my two sisters. It's not that bad. It could be a lotttt worse.

When you are being beaten by your parents, being neglected by them, haven't eaten in ten days because your parents decide not to feed you, then you can say your life sucks. Until then, millions of children have to share a room with one or more sibling. Get over it.
