Is sterilizing religious fanatics really that bad?

I mean, think of the benefits; all those crazy Muslims would no longer be able to procreate, neither will those wacko Christians who protest outside abortion clinics and no more of those pesky Mormons banging on doors trying to sell their ridiculous beliefs. It would be a beautiful world with rainbows and fluffy bunnies jumping happily around. The fears of global warming and pollution would dissipate because the human population would be much less and only decent, sane people would be contributing to the human gene pool. It truly would be a wonderful world, don’t you think?

Oh, and deciding who can and can’t procreate via a democratic process would take far too long and there would be too much emphasis on political correctness, so the decision should be made by just one person. I could be that person; I mean, I did have plans but I can put them on hold…

If you're joking, fine I'm not fond of religious fanatics anyway cause they make the true religious people (the benevolent ones) look bad.

If you're not, however, I'd probably think your definition of 'religious fanatic' would actually mean all religious followers. The next you thing you wanna suggest is that we kidnap and imprison all followers of religion. Then use them for horrible biological and genetic experiments like those wacked out scientists in anime and video games. All for the sake of your twisted idea you call 'progress'.

That is IF you're serious.

In case by some crazy cataclysmic event you were able to conjure the neccessary political power and advanced technology to push through with this plan, expect me to be one of the future legendary warriors that will fight against you and your oppresive regime. God would grant us divine and supernatural power to counter your high-tech tyranny.

(Note: Everything I said after the P.S. is my antithesis to your ridiculous plan. Impossible as my antithesis sounds, your plan to push through isn't any more possible anyways so.. :p)

Okay-How about we start w/ Sterilizing you? Imagine never being able to have kids because of your beliefs. Not a pretty picture, is it? And those sterile people? They don't live in a "beautiful world with rainbows and fluffy bunnies jumping happily around". And the whole population and "Sane" thing? What if the babies they had WOULD contribute to a wonderful world? Huh? Just think about that, okay? Imagine you're the "crazy Muslim" or "wacko Christian", or "pesky Mormon". i just LOVE how you gave them all a terrible adjective! BTW, that was sarcasm. How would you feel if you were one of them, sterile and humiliated all because of your beliefs? Oh, and btw, I plan on protesting abortion, I'm Pro-Life and proud of it, thank-you very much! What you are saying I've never done. Am I an atheist yes, do I think all christians are idiots, of course not. I believe everyone has the right to their belief and I respect that even if I don't respect a particular religions edicts and policies; nor if I believe in their deity. I use the same evidence they claim supports a deity to say ..wait a minute, this isn't enough or hard enough evidence to say that it is. Could my assessment be wrong - yes and I always leave room for that, but I will stand up for my own conclusions just like anyone else will. I give my opinion, but I do not expect to change any minds - that is not my goal anyways. I just think my "voice" along with others, has a right to be heard.
