I just read another failure to understand Evolution. This "Christian," in all his ignorance, suggested "if you want to believe you came from a Dog, go ahead"
1) That is not evolution, that is a misunderstanding.
2) Do you understand evolution? Do you understand the process from beginning to end? Why is it so many of you get this idea we ARE monkeys? Monkeys are merely our closest ancestors. At some point in history, we went a different direction which is why we are here and they are there.
Much the same, do you understand the reason a Bird and a Giraffe look different is because, when they were just small cells, a single tiny change ends up with HUGE consequences in the end?
Imagine a small organism developing a lump and another doesn't. Imagine that lump growing over millions of years and in different ways and compare it to the lumpless organism and ITS change - slightly different - why do you fail to understand evolution?

Yup, someone said a "potato" and a "rock" and thats 2 points for failing.
2 people focused on the word "imagine" and singled it out as fantasy even though the same can be said for them - face it, you don't know it.
As for condensending, try pointing that out without doing it yourself

You have no idea why a giraffe and a bird look the way they do. I imagine a small organism developing a lump, and all I can think is that it was struck in the head, not that that lump will one day magically change from a couple of cells into a beautiful giraffe. About how long do you think that would take? Two million years? Three million? You can't answer because you don't know. I believe that Evolution is possible, but I think it is foolish to say we have all the answers about how the process works when new things about our world and universe are discovered each day and when scientists can't even yet fully agree as to how the process manifests itself. I should also add that you should stop spreading this myth that most religious people fear science. If we believe in God, and that God made everything, then God would have to understand the workings of DNA, chemistry, biology, and anything else we humans cling to to make us feel smart, right?

Are you serious? There "ain't no way" that single cells every came together to form more complex organisms. It's all a myth. No scientist on earth has ever witnessed two or more completely autonomous cells joining together to form anything. The only time a cell has been observed to join with another cell is when one cell EATS another cell.
I like you last statement that begins with "Imagine". That sums it all up. . . Evolution is complete fantasy!

I am a naturalist. AND a Christian. I do understand evolution but do not hold to the fact that we all "evolved" from one single cell or a freak occurance of planets crashing together...... I believe God created us and we have changed greatly since then to combat things like heat and food sources ect.....but as far as us being evolved from a cell that is shared by every other living thing I do not believe that.
People down me for my belief in God and being a naturalist all the time. They say I cannot be both. I can say this, I cannot walk in the woods or see the world WITHOUT God, its unfathomable to me. I cannot hold to someone's "theory" that we all evolved just as some cannot imagine God in their life. I pray for them and they pity me. The cycle never ends

that's barely a tiny fraction of the opposition over evolution. There at the instant are not any 0.5 way something creatures on the instant and actual no concrete data of them interior the previous, regardless of claims of human beings with withered tail backbone. Giants and adult adult males with marvelous toughness ought to correctly have existed ,evolution or not because of the fact the gene pool does not have been something like as contaminated on the 1st gentle of their advent, as that's now. yet you're completely ideal, no concrete data yet purely faith. that's faith that evolutionary thought is actual or faith that precisely programmed existence got here of layout particularly than 2d guessing trial and blunder. speaking donkeys is unprovable besides ,regardless of the shown fact that existence is crammed with speaking serpents in all kinds of guises. so which you're making a great component each and every of the flaws you point out are so some distance unprovable, hence totally a be counted of religion in whoever you have faith. You win the argument and that i agree on present day data of the two evolution and particular advent being in accordance with faith not demonstrable actuality.

Imagine God who created it all. If you want to imagine, anyone can imagine things. Little children imagine things.
So imagine that you are wrong.

I'm a Christian. Yet, I don't deny evolution. But that doesn't mean I agree. If we came from monkeys or not, oh well. It doesn't matter anymore.
