I think I would go with the time schedule. You may be excited, but, this allows for everything to move slow so your gums and roots can adjust to the repositioning. Heck, you rush it and your gums get loose and your teeth fall out. LOL! Maybe not, but, be patient.

You should not rush treatment, so I would continue to wear the current aligner. Moving teeth too fast can cause root resorption, which means your roots become shorter. If this happens, your orthodontist may stop treatment. Also, your orthodontist will probably not give you more aligners in advance anyway. However, if you really want to change aligners, than make sure the current one can slide in and out easily. This means you have finished using the current aligner and are ready for the next one.

Invisalign works on a very specific schedule according to time period and should not be rushed. Let it work it's magic in it's own time. The only thing you will accomplish by speeding up the process is more soreness than necessary by going into the next phase before the teeth are ready

You need to go by what your dentist recommends. I'm a dental assistant and my hubby is doing Invisalign. Due to previous ortho, he has short lower anterior roots. We recommended him extending his normal time of 2 weeks to 3 weeks for changing aligners. Listen to what your dentist is telling you. DO NOT RUSH IT!!! There is a reason for it!!!
