A Pyramid must be built to escape,
Each level up you know your progress,
Climbing steadily you reach the top,
Insights abound when not caught in the trap of dogma,
Leaving the ashes behind you fly as the Phoenix,
How does it feel to see in all directions?
Much thanks to Jim Morrison for the seed of this question.

Yes, although my pyramid must be inverted (point down) by energetic necessity.....being a girl goddess and all that...lol.
as I craft said pyramid, I notice life becomes more and more simple, and more and more interesting, unexpected, vitalizing.......I am enjoying this process, and am noticing the beauty that continues to flow my way....what a blessed entity I am.....what did my self DO before I started along this path...
namaste.....*sip*

Wish I'd been smoking what you seem to be?
Did you know that at least 4 Doors titles were ripped off from an old Victorian genius, from the book 'The Golden Bough'. It was written by an Englishman and was a compendium of myth and religion from all the places he visited. Morrison obviously read it.
There is for example a chapter headed 'Not to touch the earth . not to see the sun' referring to the complete seclusion of an African girl when she first starts to menstruate. As a rite of passage she would be put in a hut, above ground and completely dark. After she would come out a woman. You gotta read it. I lent it to a friend. If you're interested mail me and I'll get you the details, author, title etc.
In the meantime, break on through!

Climbing steadily, maybe not. Sometimes it seems I must revisit a level and make adjustments. And to see in all directions only seems to point out flaws and things that must be fixed. As the Phoenix goes, well that would be a different story...

and I always assumed the Pyramids were flying ones
when I heard Jim ...
unless he was refering to the count of days
as in the Mayan pyramids ..
leaving a prophetic date of 'Escape ' (Exodus?)
in code in this and other songs ....
but the above is my own Perception ;-)

I'm moving up such a pyramid & I've been doing that for many years, but it has more to do with escaping from conventional thinking in general than with religion. I broke away from those ties when I was still a teenager. (I'm an agnostic.)

Well first of all.
Escaping! - escaping from what?????
Are you caught in the dogma about escaping from this world???
Then awake - there is no definite escape.

I am not that kind of fish
which can easily be trapped inside any net
or any pyramid.
They knew that very well.
So, they can not fool me also to build one around my mummy.
I am that kind of bird
which is liberated before trapped.
You know that very well
