well sometimes its about cheating, wild teens, abusive husbands, obese babies, secret crushes, wild videos caught on tape,animals, is it a man or a women , people with diseases or disfigurements,survival stories, talented kids and sometimes makeovers paternity tests are just the most common probably cause there the most popular , i like the Maury show

It makes him money. He and the show's producers have found that this is what viewers tune in to his show for. If he changes it too drastically, viewership decreases, valuable advertisers are lost to rival networks/programs, the network loses money, the show loses money and Maury loses money.
