No. I taught myself to snap my fingers when I was about 10 years old, but it took some practice.

It is learned, keep practicing, I was 14 when I learned how to snap, 9 when I learned to ride a bike w/o the training wheels. I am a slow learner when it comes to those kind of things, you probably are too : )

I cannot snap either. I do not think it is inherited as everyone else in my family can. Bummer I know.

Nope, not that I know of. It's not always easy to do. I used to be able to snap really well....not so good at it anymore. Keep practicing, you may get it.

Not that Im aware of. Just practice:
Put your ring finger together with your thumb and apply pressure that causes your finger to slide off your thumb and hit your palm at a high speed.

Yes, often times it is. People inherit certain personality traits from there parents genetically. Even if a person never meets their parents they often receive traits like these.

I think you just need to practice. I couldn't whistle until I was in college. I just decided I would keep practicing and I soon got it (I had a really boring job that allowed me to practice my whistling skills).
