Remember when Jesus Said that "Traditions" make the Word of GOD of None Effect?
Traditions are Really "Thought Habits".
These Thinking Patterns will Keep the Doors of your House (the Ideas in your Mind that Makes You---You!) CLOSED.
Now, GOD can Talk to AnyBody but they have to be Listening!
Getting "high" can get you out of your House so that you can go OutSide and HEAR GOD Better!

Since I don't know you I can only point out some facts for your consideration.
1. Anyone can talk to God at any time. The Bible says that we will all be judged for what we have said so God is aware of everything that everybody says at all times.
2. In the New Testament the Greek word that is often translated as "sorcery" or "witchcraft" is the word from which we get our English word for pharmacy. It refers to using drugs to make contact with spiritual forces that seek to imitate and supplant God in people's lives.
Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries (pharmakeÃas) , nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
pharmakeÃas - from phármakon (n.f.), a drug, which in the Gr. writers is used both for a curative or medicinal drug, and also as a poisonous one. PharmakeÃa means the occult, sorcery, witchcraft, illicit pharmaceuticals, trance, magical incantation with drugs

Hallucination is a funny thing. It can make you believe in the most hilarious and sensationalist fantasies and then turn them into a semiconscious reality.
Some hallucinogens will only provide a medium for you to dream exactly what you want to see.

maybe it opens you up spiritully to god many old religions used drugs and hallucinagenics to worship but don't think it is because of god . you need to look at your heart and see what is driving you to do this maybe the guilt of not being clean

You are doing your body harm with drugs.
