i need to replace a very old TV at my parents house (in the guest room---MINE!), but there is no cable in that room or satellite. Is there any basic little (under 19") that I could buy and be able to at least get network stations????

I assume that you can get a reasonable signal with an antenna, otherwise you would have nothing to watch.

It's just a matter of how much you want to spend.

The Walmart website has models ranging from $95 to $258.

These all included digital tuners.

Used CRT type TVs sell for very little money these days. You should be able to find one for $10 or so. If you go this route you will need to spend another $20 (after Jan 2008) or so on a digital tuner box to keep using it after 2/17/09.
