my 12 week old cat is sucking on a nitted blanket, like its a nipple..lol..
Well what she does it like star sucking on a piece and shakes and cloeses her eyes
and does that moving thing with her paws, like a baby feeding from her mum
What do I do about this? Just stop her? Or like let her do it?

Let her do it. It's natural for all mammals to suck to comfort themselves. Think of a baby sucking a pacifier.

She is doing that most likely because she was weaned too early. My cat had 4 babys and we kept 2. They nursed up till maybe 6 or 8 months, not all the time, just the occasional suckle, and none of them do that. Just leave her alone and let her do it. It wont hurt her.

she probably was weaned too soon. I would just ensure she always has her blanket available which will avoid you getting too many articles soaked.
Just let her enjoy.
You could also put her on your lap or in your arms so she will be "kneading" you and the blanket and also give her the comfort of your warmth. The added bonus to this is getting a cat who loves to sit with you!!

I've always heard it was because they were taken away from mom too early..not sure if that is true or not.
But, it is a comfort to her, and it's not hurting anything.
I had a cat that use to suck on the tip of its tail, purring and kneeding...it continued that all the way through adult hood..kinda cute.

the biggest problem with them sucking on blankets is u end up with a wet blanket. its a security thing. my cat does it 2 she was taken away from her mother 2 early though. depending on when ur cat was taken from their mom that could be it too. but its fine for them to do.

she probably was weaned too early. there is nothing wrong with her sucking on the blanket. she might even continue to do this in her adult life. it just means she is content.

Just let her do it! There is no harm in it. Majority of time this occurs is because it was weaned to early. She will grow out of it.

probably cuz she's still a baby or cuz she thinks she can get milk out of it ^_^. the "moving" thing is called kneeding by the way.

it means she's happy. she's probably purring while she does this too. just pet her and enjoy. it can get gross if she gets ure blanket wet with slobber, but it's nothing bad for you or for her.
