OK. Keep putting on Frontline Plus. Also start using a flea comb like these: http://www.forpets.co.uk/shopimages/products/normal/MayfieldFleaCombb.jpg

They really help. Also, if you didn't already, go to the vet and get your cat de-wormed. Use the Flea-comb (found at almost any pet store) 1-2 times a day (once in the morning, once at night) for best results.
After using the flea-comb, don't forget to take a paper towel and clean it. You don't want them reproducing at night! That's why cleaning it is important.
Well, hope this helps!

PS. Like the answer above me said, get some good shampoo that will not irritate your kitten's skin and wash throughly, making sure not to get in eyes or on face. Good Luck!!!

First, make sure your kitten is old enough to be using topical flea repellants. Also, she might not be covered, but the fleas might be affected by the Frontline, and are coming out of hiding places, like in deep hair or the ears.
Then, purchase a kitten-safe shampoo and give her a good bath. If you can get a kitten-safe anti-flea shampoo, even better. Use a flea comb to get some of the dead fleas and flea dirt off of her. The topical medications kill fleas - usually within 24 hours - and also kill or inhibit flea eggs and larvae. It will take at least a couple of days for the life cycle of the fleas to be broken. In this time, you should comb her with the flea comb numerous times a day.
Once you stop finding live fleas on her, bathe her again and go over her with the flea comb again to help get out the rest of the flea dirt.
On a personal note, I prefer Revolution for all my cats Frontline and Advantage only protect against fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes (which I have never had problems with). Revolution protects agains fleas, ear mites, and three kinds of worms that cats are susceptible to. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get rid of ear mites? I do. It took months of twice daily ear cleaning on an angry, itchy cat. As far as tick protection, if you have an indoor cat or do not live in a tick-y area, there is little to no chance your cat will pick up a tick.

Keep using the flea prep but worm her too and any other cat or animal in the house. Also you will need to treat the house as the fleas can reinfest if they are in the home environment. The flea is basically cycled through worms so my gut instinct is that the poor wee fellow has some nasty visitors. The fleas give worms etc and it is a cycle. So basically keep going but irradicate the pests from the house and the cat and worm her at the same time. Through experience I have found that sometimes the wormer needs two goes to get rid of a nasty infestation. With her being a kitten nip down to the vet and ask some advice from the veterinary nurse. They'll have heard it all before!

Hi, I am very surprised that it didn't work because it's one of the best and vets recommend it.I have used Frontline on my kitten for 4 months now and since then he has not had a single flea on him. Did you make sure to put the Frontline on the cats skin not the fur. I would call your vet and ask for advice. It's a good idea to use flea bombs as well ,I used Bob Martins a few moths ago and they have got rid of the fleas in my home 100%

Frontline Cat was the only product that has worked on my cats, and they have had some very severe flea infestations. If its a kitten Frontline Plus may be a bit strong for her ask your vets advice. Also make sure when its applied apply it direct to the cats skin, applying it to the fur yeah it does not work, it must be in contact with the skin. Good wishes for your kitty.

Frontline or advantage do not repel fleas and they are the safest products for your kitty (they stay completely topical)
advantage has the fastest kill time of the 2. Frontline kills adult fleas, flea eggs and larvae, where as advantage only kills adult fleas (nothing kills a fleas in the pupae stage or cocoon) and if you are seeing that many fleas on your kitty that is just a small percentage of what is in your environment. i would suggest continuing with the frontline and be patient it can take up to 4 months to see improvement if your environment is infested. and application is important as well if you are bathing your kitty wait at least 48 hours before applying the frontline, the natural oils on her skin help spread it.

Spot On worked great for my cats, you just place it on them and leave it to work it's magic! If not the flea collars are good too. Don't bother with flea sprays as the just irritate their eyes and the powders make them sneeze.
Also a good old fine comb can do the job if they don't have lots of fleas.
Good Luck!

1) Where did you get it, from a vets or online?
2) Did you get it all on the cat's skin? It shouldn't go on the fur.
3) You will need to spray your house as well.
4) If you don't like it, try another veterinary spot-on but STAY AWAY from pet store products.
5) Ask your vet for advice - I cannot begin to describe the amount of rubbish you'll hear on here.

you need to continue on a flea product like Frontline MONTHLY . You will then need to treat your home, if you cat has fleas while on Frontline then it means you have fleas in your home that are hatching out and jumping on your cat

I've had good luck with advantage, Frontline never worked for my dogs or cats. Revolution works ok to, just not nearly the lasting effect Advantage has.
