How do you tell a person about how they eat an apple digustingly.?

I have a friend. He has braces, and I watched him eat an apple. It was digusting. He was sucking on it and licking it. Total makeout session.So gross... and a bit funny. How do I make him quit? We get to eat apples in class and it's a distraction. Could you guys please help?

Bring him some apple wedges (apples pre-sliced) tell him that you thought it would be easier for him to eat with braces and all. He will more than likely take it as a thoughtful gesture. Unless he is just an idiot, then he will probably not get the clue. Some people just need to be shown how to do things and it could be that he never thought about slicing his apples into wedges before hand. Hope this helps.

Well, if he has braces, he shouldn't be eating an apple anyway unless he slices it. By biting into them, he is disrupting the adjustment process of the braces and potentially damaging the braces. His orthodontist should have instructed him on the correct procedures for eating an apple. You should probably speak to your teacher and let him/her deal with the situation. If you don't want to do that and want to tell the guy yourself, just say something like "I know it's hard to eat certain foods when you have braces but did you know that it's kind of gross for the rest of us to have to watch you when you try to eat an apple? Maybe you can slice your apple to make it easier to eat and a lot less damaging to those braces."

Why don't you say something like this... hey_______ here is a knife, if you cut your apple into slices or pieces.. it will be easier for you to eat and enjoy and you will not make everyone totally grossed out!
