Your spirit is not the cause of your dreams. Unless you are dead, you brain is constantly in action. During night one of the actions is dreaming. When you reach that fourth state of sleep, your brain begins to dream. You soul stays right there in your body, right where you're resting at. Sometimes I dream about the most random things and sometimes I also dream about my boyfriend. Dreams are not literal. They stand for something else that is subliminally going on in your head.

Actually, dreams come from your spirit. Thoughts themselves are spirit. So if you are having thoughts about anything during the day, your spirit takes the thoughts that you have throughout the day and translates them into a dream language. That's why dreams are so hard to understand, because they are in a spirit language. Dreams are just your spirits way of visualising your everday and past experiences. So whatever your thoughts are about your ex or fantasies are being manifested in your dream life by your spirit.

Nope. There are no spirits. Dreams are nothing but neurological reactions to happenings in your life. You might be thinking about your ex a lot and it plays out in your dreams.
