The only "card" on file for a typical Jehovah's Witness is his "publisher record card". Any publisher may view his own publisher record card, as the "Organized to Do Jehovah's Will" publication plainly states.

So-called "judicial" information does not appear on any publisher record card. Every piece of information on that card has been provided to the congregation by the Witness himself. The congregation never asks for photo identification, and does not verify the person's name, his baptism date, or his monthly ministry report, but merely accepts his report and compiles the information onto a card.

Neither "elders" nor the Jehovah's Witness religion actually requires individual Witnesses to report their ministry each month, although they do encourage such reports. The Scriptural pattern is actually quite easy to demonstrate:

(Mark 6:7,11,12,30) [Jesus] summoned the twelve, and he initiated sending them out two by two... [Jesus said] wherever a place will not receive you nor hear you, on going out from there shake off the dirt that is beneath your feet for a witness to them.” So they set out and preached in order that people might repent... And the apostles gathered together before Jesus and reported to him all the things they had done

(Luke 9:1,2,10) [Jesus] called the twelve together... And so he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God... And when the apostles returned they recounted to him what things they had done.

I'm not sure where you are in the world, but in Australia we hhave the Privacy Act, where it is illegal to hold information about you and prevent you having access to it. I am sure the same could be said of most western societies and if you push for the right to have access I am sure that you would be able to . But - Q: Do you really want to know, and is it really that imporant, you said you were "EX" J/W, you got out, and have changed your life. Remember what happend to Lots wife whe she turned back.......... - Don;t look back, walk away,. Whatever informaton they may have, how important is it in the scheme of things. Will general society really care about what the J/W say about you even if they were to disclose the information.

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and honestly did not know that had that. Most of my family have been in that religion forever and I have never heard of that.

I have to know what a file card is.....Does it have anything to do with the pamphlets that they "hustle" at my door weekly?
Didn't hustle enough maybe?
Why would a church have secrets?
