I should have just asked this question originally, I havent ever been fingerprinted besides at MEPS, I dont have any record with poilice other than something minor which was takin care of and not a problem, but things keep on changing with everything, Im sworn in and all, and I dont know why Im worrying as I have nothing to hide, just curious as to waht they do in the check, is it to just see if your finger prints turn up in anything bad?

Outstanding warrants, undisclosed convictions, and that your prints don't pop up with someone else's name.

You'll be fine. All they are really doing is making sure you are who you are. Its mainly for Identity.

I've taken many fingerprint for jobs. And I have some bad stuff nothing serious but stupid stuff when I was 18,19 and it all came out OK.

I work for the State of California and they did more then just a fingerprint check. So don't sweat it.

Good Luck

If you have no criminal record, then you have nothing to worry about. (Naturally, these fingerprints are kept on file somewhere forever, so if you're ever in trouble with the law - even after you leave the military -,you're in a bind).
