Is it also true that you believe it was Michael the Archangel’s body that was raised while God dissolved Jesus’ body?

Could you please explain the basis for these beliefs of yours?
No offense, I just want to know.

How can you reconcile your beliefs with these verses, which say that Jesus Christ rose from the dead?

"If Christ has not been raised, your faith is in vain, and you are still in your sins" (1 Cor. 15:17).

Jesus makes clear, even before death, that it is his body that will be raised up. He promises to raise up the temple once it is destroyed. "He was speaking about the temple of his body" (John 2:21).

After he had risen, he gives the same testimony, "See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; feel me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones just as you behold that I have. . . . Do you have something there to eat?" (Luke 24:39, 41).

Jesus insists that Thomas place his finger into his wounded side, so as to prove that he had indeed risen from the dead (John 20:27). There is no question that Jesus had truly risen from the dead.

Could you please cite a verse in the Bible, which proves God dissolved/disposed of Jesus’ body?

Papa:
Scripture 'suggests' but is not definite about Jesus being Michael the Archangel. That is what you are saying. Isn't it dangerous to put words in the Bible which are not there?

One thing I do know. They believe Jesus and Michael are the same person. Contrary to what the poster below me said this is not true and not supported anywhere in the Bible. In fact the Bible makes it clear Jesus is not an angel nor was He created.

In the verse below if all things were created by Jesus then how could He be created. It does not say all things except Jesus were created by Jesus.

Colosians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Jesus is an angel? The verses below dispute that.

Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

JW's are a non-Christian cult.

Jesus was the first to be resurrected.
Who Is Michael the Archangel?

THE spirit creature called Michael is not mentioned often in the Bible. However, when he is referred to, he is in action. In the book of Daniel, Michael is battling wicked angels; in the letter of Jude, he is disputing with Satan; and in Revelation, he is waging war with the Devil and his demons. By defending Jehovah’s rulership and fighting God’s enemies, Michael lives up to the meaning of his name—“Who Is Like God?” But who is Michael?

At times, individuals are known by more than one name. For example, the patriarch Jacob is also known as Israel, and the apostle Peter, as Simon. (Genesis 49:1, 2; Matthew 10:2) Likewise, the Bible indicates that Michael is another name for Jesus Christ, before and after his life on earth. Let us consider Scriptural reasons for drawing that conclusion.

Archangel. God’s Word refers to Michael “the archangel.” (Jude 9) This term means “chief angel.” Notice that Michael is called the archangel. This suggests that there is only one such angel. In fact, the term “archangel” occurs in the Bible only in the singular, never in the plural. Moreover, Jesus is linked with the office of archangel. Regarding the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 states: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice.” Thus the voice of Jesus is described as being that of an archangel. This scripture therefore suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel Michael.

I am not incerting scriptures. Test the scriptures for yourself.

Jesus rose from the dead in bodily form. However when he ascended to heaven he was in spirit form. The scriptures say flesh and blood cannot inherit the heavenly kingdom.

NOT because Thomas touch his body means that he was a Physical being angels in the early times when came to earth materialize bodies .

Genesis 19:1-6 "Now the two angels arrived at Sod´om by evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sod´om. When Lot caught sight of them, then he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the earth. 2 And he proceeded to say: “Please, now, my lords, turn aside, please, into the house of YOUR servant and stay overnight and have YOUR feet washed. Then YOU must get up early and travel on YOUR way.” To this they said: “No, but in the public square is where we shall stay overnight.” 3 But he was very insistent with them, so that they turned aside to him and came into his house. Then he made a feast for them, and he baked unfermented cakes, and they went to eating.

two angels and Lot could touch them and they ate.

1 Peter 3:18 "Why, even Christ died once for all time concerning sins, a righteous [person] for unrighteous ones, that he might lead YOU to God, he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit."

"but being made alive in the spirit"

Jesus was alive no matter the kind of Body cause there are two kind of Bodies.

1 Corithians 15:44 " It is sown a physical body, it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one"

about how the bible says that Jesus is the most powerful angel if you read Revelation 10:1

"And I saw another strong angel descending from heaven, arrayed with a cloud, and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet were as fiery pillars, 2 and he had in his hand a little scroll opened. And he set his right foot upon the sea, but his left one upon the earth, 3 and he cried out with a loud voice just as when a lion roars. And when he cried out, the seven thunders uttered their own voices."

in any single detail this angel was matching with Jesus Christ there are more than 12 verses of the bible that are linked with this part of the bible, if you wish I can send you the links.

Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Why God talk to Jesus that is among the angels, if Jesus is God why they are not "merge" and why Jesus is with the angels if he is not the first angel or son of God cause all angels are sons of God (Job 1:6)

One of the most peculiar of the WTS’s teachings is their assertion that Jesus is actually Michael the Archangel. If the JW has difficulty explaining any particular doctrine, it will be this one. Even JWs will admit that if one were to have walked up to any of the apostles or disciples of Christ and asked them who Jesus was, they would not have said, "Well, he’s Michael the Archangel!" Not only was the very idea was unheard of before Charles Taze Russell (the founder of the WTS), but the Bible explicitly rejects the possibility of it.

For example, the author of Hebrews states, "To which of the angels did God ever say, ‘You are my son? . . . Let all the angels of God worship him. . . . Your throne, O God, stands firm forever. . . . O Lord, you established the earth, and the heavens are the works of your hands’ . . . to which of the angels has he ever said ‘Sit at my right hand . . . ’" (Heb. 1). Here, the author of Hebrews separates Jesus from angels, and commands the angels to worship him (cf. Rev. 5:13-14,14:6-7). The obvious problem is this: Archangels are creatures, but the Bible forbids any creature to worship another creature. Thus, either the Bible is in error by commanding the angels to worship an archangel, or Jesus is uncreated and cannot be an archangel. Since this gave the JWs a tremendous problem, they even had to change their own Bible translation, called the New World Translation (NWT), to eliminate the references to worshipping Christ. (The 1950, 1961, and 1970 editions of the NWT read "worship" in Hebrews 1:6.) Beyond this, Jesus has the power to forgive sins and give eternal life, but no angel has this capacity.

Reasoning from the Scriptures
Resurrection
Was Jesus raised in a body of flesh, and does he have such a body in heaven now?
1 Pet. 3:18: "Christ died once for all time concerning sins, a righteous person for unrighteous ones, that he might lead you to God, he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit ["by the spirit," KJ; "in the spirit," RS, NE, Dy, JB]. (At his resurrection from the dead, Jesus was brought forth with a spirit body. In the Greek text the words "flesh" and "spirit" are put in contrast to each other, and both are in the dative case; so, if a translator uses the rendering "by the spirit" he should also consistently say "by the flesh," or if he uses "in the flesh" he should also say "in the spirit.")

Acts 10:40, 41: "God raised this One [Jesus Christ] up on the third day and granted him to become manifest, not to all the people, but to witnesses appointed beforehand by God." (Why did not others see him too? Because he was a spirit creature and when, as angels had done in the past, he materialized fleshly bodies to make himself visible, he did so only in the presence of his disciples.)

1 Cor. 15:45: "It is even so written: 'The first man Adam became a living soul.' The last Adam [Jesus Christ, who was perfect as was Adam when created] became a life-giving spirit."

Jesus
Is Jesus Christ the same person as Michael the archangel?
The name of this Michael appears only five times in the Bible. The glorious spirit person who bears the name is referred to as "one of the chief princes," "the great prince who has charge of your [Daniel's] people," and as "the archangel." (Dan. 10:13; 12:1; Jude 9, RS) Michael means "Who is like God?" The name evidently designates Michael as the one who takes the lead in upholding Jehovah's sovereignty and destroying God's enemies.

At 1 Thessalonians 4:16: (RS), the command of Jesus Christ for the resurrection to begin is described as "the archangel's call," and Jude 9 says that the archangel is Michael. Would it be appropriate to liken Jesus' commanding call to a lesser in authority? Reasonably, then, the archangel Michael is Jesus Christ. (Interestingly, the expression "archangel" is never found in the plural in the Scriptures, thus implying that there is only one.)

Revelation 12:7-12 says that Michael and his angels would war against Satan and hurl him and his wicked angels out heaven in connection with the conferring of kingly authority on Christ. Jesus is later depicted as leading the armies of heaven in war against the nations of the world. (Rev. 19:11-16) Is it not reasonable that Jesus would also be the one to take action against the one he described as "ruler of this world," Satan the Devil? (John 12:31) Daniel 12:1 (RS) associates the 'standing up of Michael' to act with authority with "a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time." That would certainly fit experience of the nations when Christ as heavenly executioner takes action against them. So the evidence indicates that the Son of God was known as Michael before he came to earth and is known also by that name since his return to heaven where he resides as the glorified spirit Son of God.

The Bible saids that Jesus "Was Put to Death in the BODY; But was "made ALIVE in the SPIRIT" !

No, Jehovah's Witnesses certainly *DO* believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected by Jehovah God some three days after his impalement. The bible is rather clear on this matter.

Of course, Jehovah's Witnesses also believe the bible to quite plainly teach that Jesus was resurrected to heavenly life.

(1 Peter 3:18) Christ died once for all time... he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit.

(1 Timothy 3:16) He was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit, appeared to angels, was preached about among nations, was believed upon in the world, was received up in glory.

The bible quite plainly teaches that flesh and blood bodies cannot attain heaven.

(1 Corinthians 15:44-50) It is sown a physical body, it is raised up a spiritual body... flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom.

(2 Corinthians 5:1-8) In fact, we who are in this tent [that is, in earthly bodies] groan, being weighed down; because we want, not to put it off, but to put on the other, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. ...while we have our home in the body, we are absent from the Lord... But we are of good courage and are well pleased rather to become absent from the body and to make our home with the Lord.

Many Scriptures indicate that spirit creatures could materialize as humans during bible times, so it is unsurprising that Jesus did so for several weeks after his resurrection. Materializing would allow Jesus to provide needed strengthening and upbuilding to the apostles and disciples, but those goals would not require Jesus to re-animate the fleshly body which had been impaled and which had died. Regarding the fact that Jesus materialized in a new human body, it is noteworthy that many or most of those who had walked alongside Jesus for years even did not recognize Jesus until he began to speak in his familiar manner. The fact that his materialized body reproduced the wounds of Jesus' impalement would allow many of those disciples to serve as powerful eyewitnesses to skeptical non-Christians largely unfamiliar with the idea of a heavenly resurrection.

(John 20:14-16) [Mary Magdalene] turned back and viewed Jesus standing, but she did not discern it was Jesus. ...She, imagining it was the gardener, said to him: “Sir, if you have carried him off, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”

(John 21:4-7) Jesus stood on the beach, but the disciples did not, of course, discern that it was Jesus. Then Jesus said to them: “Young children, YOU do not have anything to eat, do you?” ...He said to them: “Cast the net on the right side of the boat and YOU will find [some].” ...[John] said to Peter: “It is the Lord!” Hence Simon Peter, upon hearing that it was the Lord...

(Luke 24:30-32) And as he was reclining with them at the meal he took the loaf, blessed it, broke it and began to hand it to them. At that their eyes were fully opened and they recognized him

Jehovah's Witnesses do happen to believe that the name "Michael" refers to Jesus, but the idea is hardly a central doctrine of the religion. It just seems rather obvious that Jesus is the "Seed" who abases Satan; do other self-described Christians believe that Jesus would delegate this victory to one subsidiary, rather than handle the matter himself?

(Genesis 3:15) He [the Seed of God's woman] will bruise you [the original serpent Satan] in the head

(Revelation 12:7-9) Michael and his angels battled with the dragon... So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan

(Revelation 20:1-3) And I saw an angel... And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. And he hurled him into the abyss

(Revelation 20:6-7) Rule as kings with [Christ] for the thousand years.

(Proverbs 27:11) Be wise, my son [Jesus?], and make my heart rejoice, that I [Jehovah?] may make a reply to him [Satan?] that is taunting me.

I'll answer your questions, but can you answer mine too?

Question (1) - Jesus body was a sacrifice for our sins. If Jesus body was resurrected, how can it be a sacrifice?

Hebrews 10:10
"And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all"

John 6:51
"I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

--==Answer [1] Temple Raised==--
The Temple Jesus was referring to was not his fleshly body, but his spiritual body. As the Bible states, there two different types of bodies.

1 Corinthians 15:44
it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
______________________________________________

Question (2) - Why does the Bible state that Jesus was raised as a spirit?
1 Corinthians 15:45
So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"[; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

1Peter 3:18
For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, HAVING BEEN PUT TO DEATH IN THE FLESH, BUT MADE ALIVE IN THE SPIRIT.
______________________________________________
--==Answer [2] Jesus' Flesh and Bones==--
Since humans cannot see spirits, Jesus had to materialize to be seen by humans. This was also done by angels as stated in the book of Genesis.

Genesis 19:1-3
1 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.

2 "My lords," he said, "please turn aside to your servant's house. You can WASH YOUR FEET and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning."
"No," they answered, "we will spend the night in the square."

3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and THEY ATE.

Another account shows the angel having hands and being called a man.

Joshua 5:13-15
13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, "Are you for us or for our enemies?"

14 "Neither," he replied, "but as commander of the army of the LORD I have now come." Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, "What message does my Lord have for his servant?"

15 The commander of the LORD's army replied, "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy." And Joshua did so.

As you can see, spirit creatures can have the appearance of a man, and this is what Jesus did.
______________________________________________
Question (3) - If Jesus was raised in his his flesh what happen to his body? Because the scriptures say that flesh cannot inherit heaven, and that Jesus was not a in his flesh in Heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:50
50I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Hebrews 1:3
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being,

--==Some scriptures to seriously think about==--

Jesus appeared right in front of their disciples.

Luke 24:36
While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace be to you."

John 20:19
So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace be with you."

Jesus was preaching in prison (another realm) when away from his disciples.

1 Peter 3:19
in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison,

Jesus was made visible to his disciples.

Acts 10:40
"God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He become visible,

Mary didn't recognize Jesus.

"They have taken my Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him." 14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.

Mary didn't thought he was a gardener.

15"Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?"
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him."

16Jesus said to her, "Mary."
She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher).

Doors were locked yet Jesus appeared right in front of them.

John 20:26
A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"

Jesus was talking to his disciples yet they didn't know who he was. (Luke 24:15-32).
