all the zombies i summon using my magic eat corn dogs. how can I cast in such a manner that makes them eat a more traditional zombie diet? or is there anyway i can train them to eat differently?

You are using low grade zombie powder in your summoning ritual. My guess is that you probably got it from a travelling carnival (thus the craving for corn dogs).
You need to get some proper zombie powder - now available online (try zombo.com) and possibly up your power basis with some runestones carved from the femurs of unborn babies, a staff carved of sapient pearwood, or two packages of Sharkberry Kool-Aid.

If they are otherwise obedient I see no point in making an issue of it. Corn dogs will not hurt them. It is a petty indulgence,nothing like turning on your master and devouring his head. They sound like good little zombies and if anything,I should think you would owe them a treat once in a while. Maybe they'd like ice-cream. It does promote submission to succor them in trifling ways.
