im in a school with a lot of poor people and girls that act like boys..well i am super girly and i carry around gucci and chanel bags..and i wear a lot of name brand clothes.. i have long blonde hair , big blue eyes, and an all year round tan..but everyone just judges me and thinks im just a stupid barbie doll ..and nobody ever takes me serious and thats why i never have a boyfriend? how do i get people to take me more seriously and quit judging me?

well first of all you have to work for it. if you just act like you get everything people are gonna think your spoiled and will not take you seriously. tone it down with the designer brand clothes and bags. anyways the true advice would be to try and show them that you are a serious person by helping out in school activities and being friendly. if that dosent work then do not even try because people can be very judgmental and that is the truly bad quality. i come from a pretty wealthy prep school and people ask me if the toilets are made of gold sometimes. those are the people you should not take seriously because they are the people that are not informed enough to make an accurate observation of who you truly are.

Maybe they're intimidated?
If you do act girly and carry around expensive things and if you
do look like barbie then people might see you as unapproachable.
Try being more outgoing and friendly and see how people react. They might be shocked at first but in order to get into any relationship you have to be seen as someone that's open and they can talk too.. and a good way to do that is be more friendly by being warm and inviting.
...And tone down just how 'rich' you may be. People might think that you're spoiled if you wear how privileged you are.

Let's see, you know there is a problem in attracting anyone, and you know they are mostly poor, but you spend a lot of time in a tanning salon and you really like to show off very expensive stuff that you clearly know those other people can never afford.
You have an ego problem.
From what you said, you dress and act like you are superior to them, and you want them all to know that you are better then them, so you constantly shove your parent's wealth in their faces.
Why do you complain when they stay away from your constant insults?

You can't make people stop judging, that'll never happen. Your judging those poor people are you not? Or the girls who act like boys? I personally think your giving them just as much of a chance as they are giving you.
Be open to meeting new people. Bring yourself into social situations looking for new friends. Eventually a boy will come along, as for now, work on making genuine friends with those around you.

Here is a word of advice...get over yourself. Not everyone's mom and dad is rich enough to buy their probably 14 year old daughter gucci and chanel bags and even if they were not everyone would. Maybe if you stoped acting like you were better than everyone, people could stand being around you more, let alone date you.

I know its sad that people will judge you based on your looks, but its true. You may want to tone down your style a little bit. And when you do talk to others, don't speak too much/babble and make sure what you are saying is intelligent or not ditzy, this will give others a glimpse of what you are really like.

what you do and how you act is perfectly reasonable.to be honest those that have no time for you are jealous of you and your chanel bags etc.i never think that you should change who you are but if you want more respect in school maybe you could tone down ever so slightly on your expensive items in school.only slightly and dont tone down altogether in one go.do it gradually.try to be yourself as much as you can.you can be totally yourself outside school.also to be taken more seriously try to discuss serious stuff with people in school as well as not so serious stuff.hope i helped good luck!xoxoxox

Well one you sound beautiful! I think that if you just interact and make freinds with these people in your school then they will see the real side of you. I am sure you are not a rude *****. I went to a school similar to that and there was a girl just like you and she was the first love of my life so I am sure that there is someone there that admires you.

Talk to them about worldly issues, like your opinion of abortion or gay marriage or the Presidential election.
Use correct grammar and punctuation.
Try to not say "like" a lot (it's hard, I should know).
If you have an argument, back it up with facts and logic.
Stand with confidence and look people in the eyes.
