I just would like to know how random life really is or if we can actually change it by having faith and believing that our heart's desires could really come true.

Do we stop miracles from happening by believing they couldn't come true?

How do you make yourself believe?

Miracles DO happen! They can be random, you can pray for them, and unbelief may stop them from happening. Ask God to give you the faith to believe. There's an old expression, "fake it until you make it," but I prefer "Faith it until you make it!" However, God's will is the ultimate deciding factor.
Mt 17:20
So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

it is up to GOD if a miracle is to happen or not but what most people don't understand is that there has to be a good reason for this miracle to occur
for instance , if it was for GOD to stop someone from dieing and you prayed with all your heart and faith but the loved one still died , you have to understand that GOD had chosen them to come to him and that was best so your miracle didn't happen. if you are asking for something and all you are interested in is personal gain , i can guarantee it won't happen
my son was having big problems with his feet they were at the point that on some days he couldn't even walk do to pain ...we took him to doctor after doctor and they gave him pills and foot insoles and anything they could think of . nothing was working .. we are got together and prayed and prayed and GOD took that pain away and it never came back ....PRAISE GOD>>> but you see that also made me a firm believer and that was also GOD'S plan , HE is the most Divine...GOD bless everyone who reads this...

Yes I do believe in miracles. But there is a cause of all things, and that cause is the only God that there is (although there are many false gods that people worship), and that is the God of the bible. A person, any person, has access to God's throne of mercy through repentance of their sin and faith in Jesus Christ as their savior.

Then comes prayer. That is more powerful than we can know. We pray, but we cannot see what it moves in the spiritual realm. That takes place outside the ability of our eyes or minds to see. We can see the results though. And those results are answered prayers.

Our God of love answers the prayers of those who are faithful. I would not say that disbelief causes God not to move. God says, "I will have mercy on whom I shall have mercy". It is His soverign will, whatever happens. We are just given the privilege of praying to Him, allowing the result to be left to God.

I definitely believe in miracles and all miracles come from God. When I pray, i always pray .........if it is your will, Father. He know what is best for His children. We should have faith, but we shouldn't say that it's our 'degree of faith' that makes prayer happen.

I believe by reading and studying God's word, praying, and worshiping Him.

I do believe in miracles. They have happened enough to me that I don't think they are random..and all you need is faith the size of a mustard seed.

hi April, i'm a Christian,I certainly have been to many church homes with many distinctive names. all of them have self belief in certainty the comparable, yet some wont instruct of info, some do no longer prepare what they carry forth, some sell their inspirations. there is plenty I trust and there is plenty I disagree with, so i be attentive to i did no longer get my faith by using a construction crammed with human beings. My finished life is why i think in my Heavenly Father. John 3:sixteen (age 10) Is the message I gained from a guy unknown to me in a Baptist church (a million flow to) each and every thing I went by using as a toddler of hate and abuse As I advance and learn further and extra, the flaws I certainly have seen awe me. My faith grows and gets greater advantageous. I see the place His hand delivered me out of all that soreness. issues i became raised to be, i'm no longer. I certainly have escaped loss of life, yet no longer on my own. I certainly have seen the edge of darkness, i be attentive to there's a hell. i like the edge of sunshine. there's a HEAVEN.
