All recipes with colored pics are fixed alphabetically with ascending numbers in the monitor for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between...
For instance: I like this No.7 pic for breakfast. I enter this No., and monitor is helpimg me like: to put 16 oz. milk in box # 1,...2 eggs in box # 2, 15 carrots in box # 3, because I wan to drink fresh carrot juice. You can guess - this is a cooking robot without any human invasion...
After 10 minutes everything is comming out - ready for eat....Could this become real and if not - what kind of difficulies will prevent it from manifacturing

The main problem would be getting it groceries. Also it would be huge and breakfast can be cold pizza so telling it 7 for breakfast wouldn't work.
The actual cooking could be done in microwave or like pizza run on a conveyor belt in heat chamber.
If you expect it to take the eggs out, break them then cook them sunny side up and put them on the plate next to the toast and bacon it might take lots of robotic actions to get everything done.
Also you might be in a different mood when it comes to spices or doneness so you would spend so much time teaching it that you could have just made it yourself.

There was something similar on Star Trek. It was a simulator, not a robot, and you just told it what you wanted...a few seconds latter; and there it was!
