I personally don't believe in any god or gods as I'm an atheist but I often find believers making claims about how god operates and what she wants. I think it is fair to say that the only reference point to learn of god's will is the bible (or whatever other holy book there may be for a given religion). However, people so often pick and choose what can be taken literally and what must not be taken literally. On what basis do you pick and choose? I would think that if god hand a hand in writing it, she would mean what she says and all of it would have to be taken literally. But when people do take all of it literally, we call them extremists and fundamentalists. My argument is that these extremist and fundamentalist wacko's are the ones most true to the religion. Doesn't anybody else see a problem with that? So again I ask, if you don't take the bible, q'uran, etc. literally, on what basis do you pick and choose god's will really is?

If I'm a Christian, and I like to believe I'm a Christian [though, of course, I'm not] I know the will of God thoroughly because I'm me.

One can use many meditative techniques, or use prayer to get a closer connection to God. Your intuition, combined with your judgement, can give you a good picture of God, for the purposes you require it for. You have to assume that God is moral and just. This is because you want your beliefs guided by a moral being. You just try to get the best picture of God, that will be of great help during times of struggle and travail. God will not look unkindly on any one painting a good picture in their mind of him, because he must be a good God. If you paint the wrong picture of God and you meditate a lot, or pray a lot, you should get an uneasy feeling inside, that makes you change that image. It is a little like being an artist. It is hard, also to explain art and music, as it is to explain about God.

Other than What the Bible says, I don't!

I have to Pray EveryDay then "Believe" that GOD is Leading and Guiding me.

And, with the devils (invisible spiritual bad angels) 24-7 on the Earth---It Can Get VERY TRICKY at Times!

For starters GOd is a He. I personally take everything literally, When I read my bible, I try to apply what I read to my life. I strive to be like God, but he still have a lot of work to do within me. For one thing GOd doesnt like war, that is just satan deceiving people. Satan laughs at those who are fighting, and killing each other. Satan only want people to be miserable, and separated from GOd just like he is. But we shouldn't let him win. Accept Jesus Christ into your hearts today, and your sins will be washed away.

Read First John - about as good a book on the will of God as was ever written.

No great mystery there - the will of God is to believe on the one He sent; and to love one another as He first loved us.

He is in my heart, and when I ask for help, he sends it to me. I can pray about something, open my Bible, and read. He often sends someone to talk to me who will help me to find an answer.
That is all I can tell you. If it makes no sense to you, so be it.

If you do not have the spirit of God in you, you will never understand.

What makes you assume God is a "she"? Who told you God was a "she"?
