how many sex abuse cases have been made against parents , teacher, other Religions etc , more than the Catholic Church

I'm pretty sure we are up into the thousands of victims now, and lately the courts have been showing less and less mercy toward the Church,so they will pay and pay dearly. And rightfully so,the only way they can pay enough to the victims of sex abuse is if they pay so much it utterly bankrupts the Church. This is the result of a decades long cover up by the Church,an act of pure evil where the reputation of the Church was more important to them than the suffering at the hands of their Priests. And even now every Catholic alive is showing tacit approval of their actions by supporting the Church now.

Reported or the actual? No precise figure can be given by any one. Self sex abuses will be more in numbers as catching the flies being clad in the robes is not that easy. In the human body the creator has marked a function for every organ and the sex organs are the most ecstasy creator. The Church head can ban marriage, but cannot be present in the clerics confine to check self or joint sex plays. It is foolish to think that wine, wheat and meat fed bodies will remain sexual vegetarians. Ecclesiastical marriage bans are acts against God, the creator.

Statutes of limitations are important protections against unjust charges. If you wait 30, 40, or 50 years to accuse someone of a crime, it is almost impossible to gather useful evidence. Most potential witnesses are gone, and many will be dead. This means that the prosecution will only be based on hearsay, and the rights of those accused will be denied. That is not the American system of justice. Excellent research by Hayley, as usual. Cheers, Bruce

More than the church have covered up and many abused children that do not know how to cope as an adult because of what was done to them through the brainwashing of churches and cults.

Roughly 1400 against priests.. which would fall into the 'catholic church' category.

Now people that sued civilly and criminally against the actual church as a whole, and against the priests personally isn't really being kept track of I believe.

And to think, insane parents actually put their kids into the hands of these pedophiles! The priesthood is saturated with sins. Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion. I just don't understand how any parent who loves their child, could place their child into the hands of a pervert organization that PROHIBITS their priests from having any type of sex whatsoever. Something is very wrong with this folks. The Bible teaches that Old Testament priests were REQUIRED to be married. We are warned in 1st Timothy 4:1-3 about FALSE PROPHETS would come to us, FORBIDDING marriage. Folks, 1st Timothy 4:1-3 is condemning the Catholic Church! So why do Catholics continue to send their children to such a Godless organization? It's because people today reject the Bible, and follow the traditions of sinful men instead. 1st Timothy 4:1-3 is irrefutable PROOF of this fact. The Vatican forbids marriage for its priests, thus turning them into demented homosexuals and pedophiles. You Catholic parents are placing your children into the hands of demented and unholy minded men, with no other way to fulfill their sexual lusts except on your children! That's insane! Argue as you may, there are no less than 10,667 victims of Catholic priest molestations who would agree with me when I exclaim―BEWARE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH! Your children are in grave danger!!!

You may try writing to Kathy Shaw, who runs the Abuse Tracker website, which deals with all abuse, not just Roman Catholic.

Not as many as have been made against public school teachers.

Also the numbers may be a bit skewed. In my parish, our youth minister was dating a female volunteer who was over 18. They had not engaged in any behavior prohibited by the church for unmarried couples. The Diocese heard he was dating a volunteer, and terminated him for misconduct. The implication was sexual misconduct, but that was never stated, nor was it supportable.

None......it was individual sinful priests who commited the crimes. The Church has always held that homosexuality is an abomination.....a mortal sin.

It has never wavered on this. Pope John Paul II's immediate response....before the first conviction......was "It's a crime."
