1) yes you can use it in most places BUT as of 19/10/2007 the exchange was $1 CDN = $1.04 US. Use ours its colourful and you won't get burned on the exchange too badly.
2) yep there can be problems with some people and places so forewarned is forearmed
3) most likely you will get burned on the roaming rates but Canada and the US should be treated as domestic roaming rather than international roaming call your provider there may be agreements with Canadian providers.
4) 20/10/2007 @ noon overcast and isolated showers and about 20 deg C
5) gas is about $1.00 CDN or about $4.00 for a US gallon.

I live about an hour away from both Montreal & Ottawa and there are still lots of trees with colour and lots of green still left on the trees. BUT they are starting to change fast, last Saturday a neighbour's tree was still green today its bare.

1. It depends where you are, if your in a tourist area, they'll take both, but if your not in a tourist destination, then i dont think they will accept american money

2. again, it depends where you are, but i doubt it, unless your going into the far north (which opparintly your not), all signs, and things like that are in both french and english, and most quebecers speak both langauges, and again if your gonna be in a place with a lot of tourists then english will probably be spoken more than french

3. you would have to check your provider and/or your plan
