Sometimes in the Spanish Catholic Church, a person undergoes confirmation immediately after birth, but other times, it's delayed until their teenage years. How old do you have to be to get confirmed in Spain? Can anyone tell me a little bit about confirmation as well?

I think you are confused - confirmation is a sacrament you take to tell God you are old enough to decide for yourself you have chosen religion - ie 'confirming' it. In most countries, the age is 10 or 11. I have never heard of this after birth - that is baptism.

According to canon law for the Latin or Western Catholic Church, the sacrament of Confirmation is to be conferred on the faithful at about the age of discretion (generally taken to be about 7), unless the Episcopal Conference has decided on a different age, or there is danger of death or, in the judgement of the minister, a grave reason suggests otherwise (canon 891 of the Code of Canon Law). The number of Episcopal Conferences that have set a later age, usually between 14 and 16 years of age, has diminished in recent decades, and even in those countries a bishop may not refuse to confer the sacrament on younger children who request it, provided they are baptized, have the use of reason, are suitably instructed and are properly disposed and able to renew the baptismal promises (letter of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments published in its 1999 bulletin

There is no 'confirmation' in the church, in Spain or anywhere else. One is born again, or one is not. The only reliable confirmation of one's spiritual status is the rare but precious fruits of the Spirit- honesty, patience, kindness, humility, purity, usefulness, willingness to forgive and self-control.
