Stewart is probably one of the best at negotiating traffic at the short tracks. He'll be in the top twenty by lap 100, and then take it from there. I wouldn't count him out of any race, even at Martinsville.

Qualifying hasn't meant a darn thing in 10 years!

And oh yeah, its a 500 lap race not 500 miles!

12 laps in he'll be in the top 20. then he'll need the car to go forward, if he has it then he will have a chance. I would love to see the new 500 mile martinsville race you are proposing. Talk about dizzy!!!

Not going to catch up? What are you talking about?

He rarely qualifies good anymore, and most of the time he's racing for the lead before you even know it. He's come from the very last place and gotten into the top 5!

You sound like the race is over or something. There is a lot of laps between start and finish. What part of that makes you count Smoke out?

This track is tough to pass on, but a couple good pit strategies and he'll be right back in it. Chad Knaus knows how to run a pit crew, so I wouldn't worry too much about Smoke starting 34th.

Ya...You must not know much about NASCAR. Obviously you have never noticed Stewart qaulifies bad alot and catches up alot. Plus anyone in front of him could have error in the race and he could finish a top 10 and move up in points......

Starting positions means nothing to Stewart, and alot of other drivers..He always manages to work his way up...If I were a Stewart fan I would not worry at all..Smoke will charge forward.
