You will need to save cash and improve your credit. Take one class at a time when you have tuition and book money for one class.
Take something that can earn you money like bookkeeping then work towards your degree while earning more.

Is anyone willing to cosign your loan? Maybe a close family member? Also, maybe you can try for a cheap college like community college. I know a lot of people that go there for their first 2 years just to save money which I really think is a very smart move. Also, is there any government job training money available in Canada? I am in the US and am not familiar with the education system in Canada, but the government may be willing to pick up some of the tab since training another worker would only benefit the country.

Not familiar with Canadian policy re financial aid...do you have the equivalent of a Pell Grant there? Based on income here, not credit history. Got one years ago as a single mom and I had a repo on my record. Good Luck
