How do you survive a break up by email?

My ex, broke up with me throug an email, and this week was horrible, its possible to survive... What u need to do to live again.

Dang, so you ended up with my ex-boyfriend! Just kidding, but I got the same treatment a few years ago. Really, I just sucked it up. I felt horrible for a while, but then I came to realize that I was lucky to be free of a person who thought so little of me and of our relationship that he felt it was appropriate to end it the way he did, and not even face-to-face.
Go out with friends and have a drink or two. See some scary movies. Go for a bike ride. Walk around and look at the leaves changing colors. Do things that will make you laugh, and forget your pain. DON'T, DON'T, DON'T contact him. If you have to call a friend and keep them on the phone all night to keep yourself from calling or e-mailing him, do it (been there, done that).
After a while, you will realize that the pain you have pushed away just isn't coming back, and you can go on with your life. And when he e-mails again--and he will--just hit the "delete" button without opening it. He doesn't deserve you in his life.

One of my buddies went through the same thing. She was dumped by email, and being the jackass he is, he emailed her a few days later asking her if she was okay if he asked her best friend out. Pah.

It just shows what a gutless creature he is. Your better then him. Better off, too. Find someone with balls next time.

First of all you'll live and second of all if he broke up with you over email than he is not a real man anyway. Yes breaking up with someone is hard but if you're not man enough to do it the right way than he wasn't good enough for you anyways. LOL Keep your head up.

If he broke up with you through an email then he is a coward. I wouldn't worry, there are plenty of good guys out there. I would never break up with a girl through an email. I would at least be respectful enough to do it in person. I would be glad you are rid of him.

no matter how, breaking up is horrible. (mainly because i hate being single) but OUCH, through email? Whoa! he was probably an idiot, you know theres more guys out there looking for a girl like you. hang out with your friends, and get busy so you won't think of him. this is how life is, life doesn't come and say, OH, I'm going to give her a great life, theres always obstacles in life that you have to go through, that how life is, its not fair. but again, forget him, and you are single now, that means flirting, take care ♥

oh for crying out loud!!! stand up and get with the program. you need not whine and cry about some jerk that didn't even have the decency to tell you in person. he is a loser and you can do better. but not unless you put a smile on your face and get over the blues.

Someone broke up with me over MySpace. Which of course sucked, but all you got to do is forget, as painful as that is. But reliving everything over again and beating yourself up about it is totally not good.
