I am trying to locate copies of my Army College Fund/GI Bill contract that I had signed and agreed to upon enlisting in the Army in 1990...I don't know the DD or DA form number and so far, the National Personnel Records Center for Military records is of no help.....can anyone help?

If you have your DD-214, you can use that back up your claim for your GI Bill funding. If you don't have it, go to the following site and fill out the form, and FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXPLICITLY or you won't get your DD-214. Heck, get one extra even if you have your original. My son and I did, and it's FREE. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the RED BAR.

Contact your local VA rep about using your GI BILL school money, if that's what you're trying to do. You can go on line and find the local office.
Good luck!

You may want to contact a service officer with one of the veteran's groups. Look up the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans or Veterans of Foreign Wars and give them a call as they have most of the service officers. That person will steer you in the right direction.

If you have none in your area, the VA should have that information as they handle the GI Bill program. Contact your local VA service center (not hospital) and they might be able to help you.

I would try the MEPs station where you went to fill out all that crap. They should have an archive with you files there. Your DD214 is your personal infromation packet, if you need a new one check with your local VA rep I'm cofident that they can point you in the correct direction.

lots of luck as the main military records building burned down some time in the 90s and a lot of records were lost.
