African Violets seem to do better in the bathroom than anywhere else...And I think it is because of the humidity....Good Luck

My mom had African violets that lasted for years.
1] water once a week
2] fertilize with plant fertilizer once a month
3] fert. with African violet fetilizer two weeks from that day
They need some sun, and should have leaves wiped off occasionally.

Use small pots under fluorescent lights they will do best.

talking to plants makes them grow, and they need water too!
