Mine doesn't meow, she gurgles, or chirps like a Mexican would roll their "R".

Our Ragdoll cross doesn't meow either. Best description is kind of a breathy sound like - peehk. She'll make different sounds when excited, or when playing with our son.When she's in heat, she does a combo of little chirping sounds, which sound like little barks when they get louder.
We had cats in the past who talked to the birds outside the front window - the 'chattering' people talk about.
My fave sounds are the sighs and groans some cats make when they are sleeping (except the snoring) - it's SO cute.

One of my cats (an Abby x) also chirps and chortles, more like a raccoon noise then a cat. My Persian has her own "battle cry" that defies description when she is wound up and zoomps out of the room at full tilt, kinna a muurrrraaarp sound. Could have named her Xena Warrior Cat.

One of mine makes this noise that sounds kinda like "momma" when she's hungry. And another one kinda growl purrs at me. (I have four cats altogether).

mine grouls at me all the time. it sounds so weird.
and the otherone has thies weird combonation of a purr and a miaw AT THE SAME TIME..weird

My cat growls a lot and he also makes a "hmph" sound when he's hyper lol

my kitty is really squeaky. Her acent sounds chinese for some reason.
