how important is it to marry within your congregation? What about your kids? How important is it to raise your kids with your same spiritual values?

AD - You say you will deal with real life? Even your name dispels that myth. You're not dealing with life. Life is God Himself. You could never call yourself the name you do unless you were under the power of someone evil. Be freed of him, and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and you will be saved. Then, God will be important to you.

It is very important with me. One thing I agree with the Bible about is the verse that says "you shall not be unequally yoked". My children will be raised Muslim and Muslim women can only marry Muslim men. As for my sons I will make sure they only marry Muslim women. It's confusing to any children produced of a marriage where the parents have two different religions. Since children take the religion of the father they would wonder why their mother has a different religion and resent their mother for not having the same religion as their father and themselves. My husband is Muslim like I am and all children are born Muslim.

God is everything. He should be above even our family, though sometimes we put Him on the backburner and we are too busy focusing on other things. Anyway, God should definitely play a huge role in who we marry, though I don't know about whether or not the person HAS to be from our own congregation, as long as they are a Christian and have the same beliefs. As for kids, I do not have any, but I know that I will doing all that I can to instill the same spiritual values I have in my future children. God is everything!

if you are a believer you should follow the word of god and his commandment's also the bible say that you should not live (or sleeping in same bed ) together without been married so it is very important to get married if you really loved your mate this shouldn't be a problem and for your kids it is important too to be in the path of the lord for he is the creator of life and you should follow him

Extremely important............as long as it is a fellow believer and our values, etc. are the same. We don't want children who think there are options to what we believe is right and wrong.

Christians are commanded to raise their children to serve God. It is the main way Christianity has traveled from generation to generation.

Well, I'm not sure a/b marriage because I'm still a kid. But God is very important to me. I think that kids should be raised with God in their life so they know that someone is watching over them and that they can always talk to him.

God is greater effective than important. he's each and every thing to a Christian. He loves us adequate that He sent His purely Son to us and allowed Him to be persecuted, heavily overwhelmed, flogged, stabbed with a sword, and then die on a bypass to pay for the sins that WE need to pay, as we are so very a ways faraway from the honour of God. The sacrifice that Jesus made opened the door for us to be linked to God lower back. each and every sin became taken on by potential of Jesus, even our maximum horrid and worst sins of all, Jesus gave His life for. Jesus took all of it on; for each man or woman. hardly might a guy ever provide up his life for yet another, besides the certainty that he might if the guy have been righteous. yet mutually as we've been nevertheless sinners, Jesus gave up His life for us - as enemies of God. besides the certainty that Jesus loves all human beings and gave His life for all, it does no longer advise that all human beings will respond to Him and persist with Him. (examine Matthew 7:13-14)

God is my whole life. And to me (I'm 15) its VERY important to marry with my congergation (I'm consverative Church of Christ, and maybe not of the congergation I'm in, but of other conservative Church of Christ's) so that I'm marrying someone who has the same beliefs as I do. And so we can help each other get to heaven. And to raise childeren with the same values is important so that they too may enter into Heaven one day, and not suffer in Hell.

Well, I'm not religious, but what would be important to me is that the person I choose to have a life long relationship with is able to respect my beliefs as I would his. When it comes to children, I would hope that they would feel free and feel like they had all the resources available to them to choose their own faith path.

well i believe that you should raise a child up in a spiritual home and when old enough encourage them to "visit" other religions .. my parents did with me they raised me up in a non-demonialal church and when i was around 15 i began to visit other churches... baptist, methodist, pencostal, church of god, full gospial... ect... and at that time methodist was a good fit it had its own youth program and ministry.. after i had my son i began to worship in a church of god.. and even though i must admit i do not attend every service my 10 yr old son attends regularly with my mom or even the youth pastor will come pick him up if we are not attending...
