As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend and sister.
Insha'Allah, I am a convert for approximately a year so I trying to make up for "lost time (smile).
Besides trying to read the Holy Qu'ran on a daily basis, and doing salaah five time each day, I try to be conscious of Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, throughout the day and night.
Insha'Allah, upon awakening, the first thing I say in the morning is 'Alhumdulillah!", in thanksgiving for having passed the night and having been blessed with another day.
Insha'Allah, it seems that I say "Insha'Allah" before each sentence trying always to remember that all that I have received and all that I have been blessed with and all that I will ever receive is from Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala.
Insha'Allah, I try to remeber to pray before each meal, during wudu and I make dua throughout the day.
Insha'Allah, my seven year old daughter is beginning to do the same. Alhumdulillah!
Insha'Allah, I don't know how often I say "Allah" as a praise to Him and as thanksgiving but I will never be able to thank Him enough for His having guided me to Islam, allowed me to learn how to pray and for allowing me to teach my daughter the same. Alhumdulillah!
Ma'a salaam.

"Allah" is the Arabic name for GOD.. It is being used by Muslims and non-Muslims.. for example: Arab Christians use the word "Allah" in their prayers....
And Muslims throughout the world, whether they are Arabs or not, use the word "Allah"
Getting back to answering the question:
A Muslim must have said the word Allah many many times in his life... when he prays 5 times daily, when he ask something from God, when he praise God in his daily life, etc, etc
But I see that this question has attracted some unpleasant answers as well... so for the purpose of those who may get the wrong idea, let me explain a few issues
It does not matter how many times you say "Allah"... What matters is that, is God please with you?
Someone might have said the word "Allah" a billion times in his life... but if he die as a disbeliever, then all that amount of saying is of no use.
You see, God will not ask us how many times have you said the word "Allah". But what are our deeds?
Did you ascribe partners to God, when God is the Only one, none other than Him...
Did you do the things that were made obligatory upon you, like the 5 daily prayers, the zakat, the hajj, etc, etc..
So we must wake up, and do righteous deeds so that God may be pleased with us..
And for non-Muslims start to embark on the journey to find the truth, who is God? Find out about this word "Allah" in the translation of the Quran
May God give guidance to us all

Well...was this directed towards Muslims, or...?
I'm not Muslim, but I've probably said it about 10 times in my life. Probably more after that episode of Reno 911 came out.

It's funny you asked this question a year ago when my neighbors moved into the house next to me. I heard them both calling out " Allah." I thought they were both looking and calling for there youngest daughter "Alisha" who would always wonder into my backyard trying to attempt to climb over my pool fence. I was calling out Allah as I checked down near the pool and all around my house in case she wondered in as she would normally do. When I called out to Jema and Mohamed and told them I couldn't find Alisha hiding around my backyard or her usual hiding spot behind my garage playing with all her dolls and toy horses when she wonders over. They both broke out laughing explaining the misunderstanding. So I've said Allah thousands of times.

Maybe 100 times. Very rarely do I speak of the Abrahamic deity as anything other than "the Abrahamic deity."
